If you haven’t guessed yet I’m a graphic designer that has a strong passion to making beautiful interfaces, logos, and well...everything! What many people wouldn’t guess is that I also have a strong passion for the development side of things; most other designers don’t understand how a graphic designer could possibly have an interest in plain 1 color code, but I don’t understand how they can’t be curious how their designs actually to come to life. I tend to be rather intuitive when figuring out the logic behind a coding project or even the reason I have to make designs a certain way.
I’ve attended two different schools in my life so far one being the Centre of Arts and Technology in Kelowna, BC, and the other being Northern Alberta Institute for technology (NAIT). I’ve come to realize how both schools seem to cover subjects that the other doesn’t and intertwines nicely into a great overall education. CATO’s focus tends to be on the overall design and composition of the project, while NAIT leans far more towards the functionality/User Experience. I’ve used what I’m learning and have learned from both schools to find a perfect balance that people seem to appreciate and understand.
